A little bit of Spring
Here, in Alberta, we still have lots of snow and cold days, not too many warm days for this time of year. The girls are asking to go out without their jackets and say "well it's Spring"... but not the normal kinda Spring/April weather we normally have.
So to bring some Spring like looks to us, we purchased these cute little bird houses from Dollarama. The girls painted one each and the others got modged podged. I think they turned out great!
We wanna do some more of these. I will be on the search for a rub on that says "every birdy welcomed" for my next house :)

New Altered Items
Found these great little holders with dividers at Dollarama (love that place!).
Added some paint, paper with mod podge, bling bling, flowers and ribbons.
I also altered a clipboard for my desk area at work :)
The one (below) with yellow paint, white rose flowers and blue, yellow and brown pattern paper is altered by one of my talented daughters. I think she did an awesome job!

I am An Addict...
... a Flip Flap Addict that is!
Remember my last scrapbooking retreat that I attended, I told you that I created 38 layouts. Some of those layouts included 4 x 6 and 6 x 12 CTMH Flip Flaps, I just counted them all...
44 4 x 6 Flip Flaps along with
6 6 x 12 Flip Flaps were used!
And as promised here are some of the layouts from that weekend:

I'm back!
Went to a wonderful retreat this past weekend & accomplished my goal of getting my East Coast trip finished. Did 38 layouts with tonnes of flip flap, I will have to go count them all for fun. and did 20 valentines and some swap items too. I will post pictures later, I am still recovering from all the candy!!!!

BBR it's cold outside!
Day 2 of trying to set up my blog, I am slowly learning. A huge Thank You to Twyla and Jen for your help! I was supposed to have my hostess club ladies today but since we have a blizzard out here I changed the date to next Sunday. We have huge snow drifts outside my front door, once my camera is charged up I wil post some pics of this crazy Alberta weather. I hear it's worst down south.
